RANGERS FACE RIVAL ISLANDERS AS BREATHE EASY PLAY HARD CELEBRATES
ROSTER ADDITION OF MATT GILROY
BEPH has a "secret weapon" this time around for the Rangers when they
take on the cross-town rival NY Islanders Wednesday, March 24, 2010, 7
pm during a youth asthma awareness night at Madison Square Garden.
It's rookie defenseman Matt Gilroy, who was one of Dr. J's star
patients as a youngster. The 25-year old won the Hobey Baker Award,
given to the U.S.'s best college hockey player, as a Boston
University senior last season.
The transition from college to pro hockey has always been extremely
tough for any NHL rookie-and Matt's first season has been no exception
to the rule. Yet, ever since Matt took on asthma at a very young age,
he's shown over and over again ever since that he represents the
epitome of the BEPH "yes he can win, yes he will win" attitude.
See what we mean when Dr. J. talks youth asthma awareness and its
impact on exercise and sports with Matt in a halftime interview
that'll be shown simultaneously on the MSG Network and game
scoreboard. Look for Ranger-BEPH public service announcements to air
on MSG Network and MSGVarsity.
Pick up a Breathe Easy Play Hard sports bag on your way into the
arena--and learn more about to how to build a winning attitude with
asthma!
